Butler Co. sees over 4'' of rain on Thursday

BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19)- Slow moving late afternoon and evening thunderstorms dumped over 4" of rain in northern Butler County.

In the area between Seven Mile and Jacksonburg, FOX19 viewer Paul Fraley measured 4.25" of rain which was consistent with what StormTracker Doppler Radar estimated.

Flooding was not widespread because the rain fell in such a restricted area.

More thunderstorm activity is on tap Friday afternoon, and rain could be heavy Saturday morning with additional showers expected Sunday and most of next week.
