Music merchant opens at Bridgewater Falls shopping center | Shopping & Services

FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) - Bridgewater Falls Lifestyle Shopping Center announced  that music merchant Play on This! opened their doors on Monday. 

Play on This! is a music retailer specializing in music wares and wearables and the nation’s only authorized retailer for Two Old Hippies merchandise.  They will feature logo wearables and accessories from most major musical instrument manufacturers as well as guitars, amps, drums, keyboards, microphones, cables, strings, sticks, drum heads, straps, educational DVD’s and much more. 

Play on This! will also offer lessons for beginners as well as advanced players from some of the best teachers in the area.

“Play on This! is a retail and service component that brings a great complement to The Village at Bridgewater Falls  The Village has become a hotspot for new merchants and Phillips Edison & Company is pleased to continue improving the neighborhood shopping experience,” commented David Roth, Leasing Representative for Phillips Edison & Company, owner of Bridgewater Falls. 

Frank McGucken, a native Ohioan and business entrepreneur, owns Play on This!  His musical interests were always supported by his family, which allowed him to grow into a professional player as a drummer/percussionist and keyboard player.   “The unique concept of combining a full line musical instrument store offering music lessons and training, with a music based clothing store, not only appeals to working musicians, students and intermediate players, but also to any customer who has an interest in music or fashion,” commented McGucken.

Play on This! opened its first store at the Cincinnati Premium Outlet Mall but quickly outgrew the space and decided to open a larger store at Bridgewater Falls.  The store will be located in The Village at Bridgewater Falls in between Art in Motion Dance and the new woman’s boutique, The Stash.  Play on This!
