Dedication ceremony for Fairfield's newest park
FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) - The city of Fairfield is set to debut their newest park on Saturday, October 27.
The dedication program and ribbon cutting ceremony for Huffman Park will start at 11 a.m. under a large tent. Activities will include visits with the Raptor Center Hueston Woods, the Butler County Bee Keepers Association along with a children’s craft and information about the Huffman Park Community Gardens courtesy of the Four Seasons Garden Club.
This project was made possible by the Anna and Harold Huffman Foundation’s donation of the 22 acre farm and over $900,000 to develop the southern portion of the property into a discovery area for children of all ages.
