HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton woman has 106 reasons to celebrate on Monday. Frances Coe is celebrating her  milestone birthday with family, friends and staff at Mercy Health.

Frances was born on October 29, 1906, to Edwin and Cordelia Hazelwood in Big Hill, Ky., in Madison County. Frances moved to Hamilton when  she was a child. She attended Van Buren Elementary School  and then started working when she was in 8th grade. In 1926, she met Charles Clark Coe while attending First Baptist Church in Hamilton. They both worked for Champion Paper but in different departments. The couple married on July 28, 1926. They were married for 58 years until Charles passed away in 1984.

Frances says that her key to longevity is to eat everything on the table. She also believes in keeping an active mind and body. In her words, “Don’t sit still.”

Mayor Patrick Moeller is planning to attend to read a proclamation in Frances’ honor at 2 p.m.

Frances has seven children, 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren with one on the way.

When asked what is the one thing she would like to do that she has not done yet it, she quickly replies: "Ride on a motorcycle."
