Woman wanted for stealing tablets from CVS store

ROSS TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police in Ross Township hae released surveillance photos of a woman wanted for stealing tablets from the CVS store on Hamilton Cleves Road.

On December 27, 2012 the suspect entered the store and put two wireless touch screen tablets in her purse and left the store without paying. The approximate value of stolen items is $200.00.

The suspect was described as being a white female in a white jacket and blue jeans with long blonde hair. She last seen with two black males.

Cops arrest Hamilton man on drug charges, again

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19)- A man who is out on bond on drug charges is arrested again.

The Bulter County Sheriff's Office say Willie Prater, 41, was arrested after a search of an apartment on Hampshire Court in Hamilton reveled heroin, cocaine and crack.

Prater had been out on bond from several similar drug-related charges that were filed by the same drug taskforce back in November.

"I guess some people just don't seem to get it," said Sheriff Jones.  "Possessing and dealing in drugs is against the law.  If they want to continue to peddle their poison, we are going to continue to arrest them – plain and simple."

Prater had his initial appearance in Hamilton Municipal Court on Friday, where bond on the new charges was set at $250,000. 

He currently remains housed at the Butler County Jail.

Agents also seized his 1998 Lexus.

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

Police engaged a suspect in a car chase after a vehicle was stolen from a Middletown auto dealership.

Police received information that a Ford Focus was stolen from Pierson Automotive early Sunday morning.  According to reports, the keys were stolen from the dealership on Saturday afternoon. The suspect came back to the dealership overnight after the dealership has closed for the car.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)  - The Ross Township Police Department wants the public to be on the lookout for a trailer that was stolen from a parking lot.

Between November 4 to November 13, 2012, a 2006 black 28 foot Patriot tandem car trailer was taken from the Ross administration building parking area.

2 arrested after shooting in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19)- Two people have been arrested after a shooting in Middletown.

It happened just before 3 a.m. Wednesday morning at Jacoby and Young Street.

Officers located a SUV that had been shot at least once. 

Carmen Burton was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation through the Warren County Sheriff's Office. Burton was found to be arguing with the shooter, who was later identified as Alex Johnson, 25.

Officer's responded to Johnson's residence on Woodlawn Avenue just after 4 a.m. Johnson voluntarily surrendered and was arrested on an outstanding warrant through Middletown Municipal Court for domestic violence.

Johnson was transported to Middletown City Jail and additionally charged with weapons under disability, weapons while intoxicated, discharging a firearm in city limits and criminal damaging.

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A documentary on the Discovery Channel called My Brother the Serial Killer features a Hamilton man who, among other things, claims he murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in 1994.

Glen Rogers is on both Florida and California's death row for two murders. In the documentary he claims to have committed 70 murders. He has been directly linked to five murders and has been named a suspect in over a dozen more, the documentary says.
