OXFORD, OH (FOX19) - MadCap Puppets' production of WHEN YOU WISH UPON A FISH will perform at the Oxford Community Arts Center. The show is free and open to the public, and will take place on Monday, February 6 at 6:30 pm.

The famous Grimm brothers take the stage in one of the most popular Madcap shows of all time! The brothers have three completely different versions of "The Fisherman and His Wife" and can't decide which fishy fairy tale to choose for their book. Each outrageous version includes audience participation, a magical talking fish and a surprise ending. Don't miss this hilarious slapstick adventure!

One of a small handful of professional puppet theatre companies in the United States, Madcap Productions Puppet Theatre has been conceiving, writing and building puppet productions for over a quarter of a century. Drawing from the vast array of world literature and cultures, Madcap develops productions that magically bring to life the imaginations of children and their families through timeless stories and adventures that are universal in their themes. Nearly a half million viewers from around the country see a Madcap performance every year.

WHEN YOU WISH UPON A FISH is a part of the Oxford Community Arts Center and ARTSWAVE PRESENTS… productions series. Other organizations scheduled to bring children's performances to OCAC this spring are Cincinnati Playhouse (Off the Hill production of "River Rat and Cat" by Y York on April 27th) and Cincinnati Opera ("Little Red Riding Hood" on May 15th).
